Drive from Naran to Shogran.
– is on a green plateau in Kaghan Valley. Village was
affected by the earthquake of 2005. It is 34km from
Balakot. From Shogran, you can ride a jeep or horse or
hike to several picturesque places like Siri Paye and
Makra Peak. Local people are friendly and peaceful.
Afternoon drive by jeep & visit to Siri Paye –
is a beautiful hill station. It is situated in Shogran
near the K and Makra
is in Hazara region & is 3,586m high. It is a tourist
place with plenty of hotels. Hiking Makra is difficult
task due to snow and slope of the peak. Although it
can be normal
peak to climb,
deaths have occurred in storms. Main reason for deaths
is too much fog when weather goes bad, and too much
slope. Waters of its
glacier feed the
Kunhar River. In
