The Himalayan ibex is widespread in the higher mountain ranges of Karakoram, Hindukush and Himalayan mountain ranges, of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The males have heavy body, large horns, long bears and females are small body small horns. Himalayan ibex are founded at about 3,660 m to over 5,000 m height in Pakistan, in summer but these can be seen at below 2,135 m during snow fall in winter. December to March is suitable time for lbex as the snow brings them to lower areas. The hunting areas are 9.000’ – 12.000’ and average of this specie 36”- 40” horn length. There are several good community managed areas where good trophies can be hunted.

Arrive Gilgit & drive to Gulmit via Karimabad. Gilgit is an old tribal town that acted as a rest stop for weary travelers on the silk route- the famous road from China to the Arabian Sea. It is located in the heart of the Karakorum Range, surrounded by lofty peaks, the most majestic being Rakaposhi. Lunch at Rakaposhi View Point. After lunch, continue drive to Gulmit. Upon arrival transfer to hotel for dinner & overnight. OR If flight gets cancelled then drive to Besham Lunch, dinner & overnight at hotel at Karimabad or Besham. |

After breakfast, leave for full day Ibex hunting.
Pack Lunch will be served. OR Complete the road journey from Besham to Gulmit via Chilas. Upon arrival transfer to hotel for dinner & overnight. |

Pack Lunch will be served. At evening, return back to hotel for dinner & overnight |
| 05 | Gulmit | After breakfast, again today leave for full day Ibex hunting.
Pack Lunch will be served. At evening, return back to hotel for dinner & overnight at the hotel |
| 06 | Gulmit – Karimabad | AM hunt, if not success on D4 & D5.
Pack Lunch will be served PM drive to Karimabad, arrive visit Baltit Fort and Karimabad Bazaar Later transfer to hotel for dinner & overnight. |
| 07 | Karimabad – Gilgit | After breakfast visit Gulmit village and later drive to Gilgit.
Stop for making photographs of Ultar Peak 7388 meter and Diran peak 7257 meter, Rakaposhi 7788meter and Golden peak 7200meter. Lunch at Rakaposhi View Point After visit continue drive to Gilgit with few stops on the way. Upon arrival transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight. |
| 08 | Gilgit – Islamabad
OR Gilgit – Besham/Naran |
Morning transfer to Airport & fly to Islamabad by PK ___by___ hours.
Upon arrival and visit Raja Bazaar in Rawalpindi. Later transfer to Islamabad Airport and fly back. OR If flight gets cancelled, drive to Besham / Naran via Chilas, Enroute enjoying the View of Rakaposhi view 7788meter, Nangaparbat 8125meter and other 7000 meter mountains. Lunch at local restaurant at Chilas, after lunch continue drive to Besham / Naran. Arrive Besham/Naran, transfer to hotel for dinner & overnight. |
