01 Islamabad Upon arrive at Islamabad, meet our guide with transport and transfer to hotel for overnight.
02 Islamabad–Skardu

Full day ISB/RWP CSS

Transfer to airport for your flight to Skardu.  

Arrive and transfer to the hotel, later proceed for the sightseeing of Skardu including: Shighar Valley, Shighar Fort & Buddha Rock Carvings.

OR If flight does not operate, then make the sightseeing of Islamabad and Rawalpindi i.e. Faisal Mosque, Shakarparian, Lok Virsa and Raja Bazaar 

Lunch at local Restaurant.

Evening return to hotel for dinner and overnight. 

03 Islamabad – Skardu

Or

Islamabad- Besham

 

Today again we will try to catch the flight for Skardu. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Skardu, including Shighar Valley, Shighar Fort & Buddha Rock Carvings.

OR If flight does not operate, drive from Islamabad to Besham.

Lunch on the way at local restaurant.  

Arrive at Besham and transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.   

04 Skardu – Gilgit

After breakfast drive from Skardu to Gilgit. Enroute lunch at Astak Nala.  

OR

Drive from Besham to Gilgit via Chilas. Lunch at Chilas. Continue drive to Gilgit.  

Arrive and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight. 

05 Gilgit – Karimabad – Duikar After breakfast drive from Gilgit to Karimabad, enroute lunch at Rakaposhi View Point.  

Arrive Karimabad and transfer to the hotel. In the evening group can enjoy the Sun-Set view of the Hunza valley. 

Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

06 Duikar – Karimabad

 

 

Early get-up and view the Sunrise from Duikar.  

After breakfast drive from Duikar to Altit fort. Visit Altit Fort and drive to Nagar by jeeps.  

Lunch at local restaurant at Nagar. Drive back to Karimabad. Visit the Baltit Fort & bazaar.  

Transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

06  Karimabad After breakfast leave for the visit of Hasegawa Public School.  

Later continue drive for the Sumayar, for the day excursion with the picnic lunch.  

In the evening transfer back to the hotel for dinner & overnight.

07 Karimabad – Gulmit  CSS – Passu This morning drive to Passu via Gulmit, enroute visits the rock carving at Ganesh.  

Lunch at Gulmit. Visit Old House and Gulmit Museum.

Later drive to Passu.  

Arrive and transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight. 

08 Passu – Sost – Khunjerab –Tashkurgan

 

 

 

 

Drive to Sost; make the immigration and custom clearance

Then drive to Khunjerab Pass – (4693m or 15397f) 80 km, 2.30 or 3 hrs drives, is the highest paved int’l border. This flat pass is often snow-covered during the winter season and as a consequence is generally closed from November 30 to May 1. Continue drive (4-5 hrs, 130km) from Khunjerab to Tashkurgan – (3200m) a vibrant and beautiful little village inhabited by Tajiks. This area has a wealth of activities for the adventurous and not so adventurous traveler.  

Upon arrival transfer to Pamir Hotel for dinner and overnight. 

09 Tashkurgan – Kashghar Drive from Tashkurgan to Kashghar, enroute lunch at Karakoli Lake. 

Karakoli Lake – means black sea, is located 190kms from Kashghar.  It is not far from the base camp of Muztagata. If you walk or ride a camel, it will take five hours to arrive there. The altitude of lake is 3,600m, 10km area with a surface reflecting the lofty and mysterious Mount Muztagata.  

Continue drive to Kashghar – is a famous market town in China’s Far West, strategically important as the gateway into China from Pakistan and Central Asia. It can be reached by air from Urumqi (two hours), by train or via road. This really is the heart of Silk Road life. Kashghar is home to the world’s largest outdoor market.  

Arrive and transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight. 

10 Kashghar  

 

Full day sightseeing of Kashghar including Mosque, Bazaar and Fort.  

Id Kahkh Mosque – is the biggest mosque in Xingiang. It is also the center of Islamic activities. Mosque was built in 1442.  Id Kahkh means “a place of worshipping at festivals.” The mosque’s gate is a 12 meter-High Square bricked arch the main tower is light green-colored and is overspread by fine carved designs. At present, there are about 3 thousand people coming here to pray every day and about 7 thousand Muslims come on Friday prayer.  

Grand Bazaar – is located at the East Gate of Kashghar, and is the biggest international trading market in northwest China. There are 5,000 booths, stalls and more than 10,000 different kinds of goods in the market.  A large number of foreign tourists and traders have brought significant quantities of foreign merchandise to trade here and have also purchased Chinese goods.  

In the evening transfer to hotel for dinner and over night.

11 Kashghar – Urumchi – Beijing Take the flight from Kashghar to Urumqi. 

Urumqi – means “beautiful pasture”. This rich and vast land is a renowned tourist destination. In summer, when the flowers are blooming and the fragrance of the various fruits is in the air, tourists can take full advantage of the many splendors of the region.   A great variety of peoples, costumes, languages, religions and customs have forged the unique features of Urumqi.  

Arrive at Beijing – the Capital of People’s Republic of China and is home to the headquarters of most of China’s largest state-owned companies. The city is renowned for its opulent places, temples, gardens, tombs, walls & gates.  

Arrive at Beijing, meets assist and transfer to hotel for overnight.
 

12 Early morning transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
